Kratom, as we all know, is a plant with lots of benefits. Kratom can have similar effects to opioids and stimulants. Two compounds in kratom leaves, mitragynine and 7-a-hydroxymitragynine, interact with opioid receptors in brain, producing sedation, pleasure and decreased pain, — especially when in large quantities.
Although in the case of drugs, there is no research that mentions that kratom can cure drug addicts. But, kratom can alleviate the symptoms. Because, Kratom has opium content in it. The opiate in kratom can reduce the drug’s withdrawals and make them more managable.
